    Nick Sanchez has been informed he’ll need a new ride for 2026

    In 2025, Nick Sanchez drove full-time for Big Machine Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. He grabbed one win, coming via Atlanta Motor Speedway and finished 11th in the standings. That was his first run a full-time Xfinity Series ride. He previously raced full-time in the NASCAR Truck Series.Now, heading into 2026, Sanchez is looking for a new ride. He was informed over the weekend that he would not be returning. “Over the weekend, I was informed that I will not be driving the No. 48 for Big Machine Racing in 2026,” Sanchez opened in a social media post. “I’m grateful for Scott Borchetta, Patrick Donahue, everyone at Chevrolet and the whole team. I am proud of all we have accomplish this year including out win. Unfortunate timing and circumstances, but it’s strictly business.”He added, “When one door closes another one opens.
