Assetto Corsa Rally: Early Access Car List, Stages And Release Date

Assetto Corsa Rally will soon launch in early access. Here’s everything you need to knowWe’d been expecting a bit of a lull in rally games for the foreseeable future, with the demise of Codemasters’ WRC games and a break until Nacon release its new take on the licensed rally championship series from 2027. However, out of nowhere, Assetto Corsa Rally is upon us. Set to arrive in Early Access pretty soon, here’s everything you need to know. Despite only being unveiled in October, and original AC developers Kunos Simulazioni hard at work on AC Evo, Assetto Corsa Rally will release through Steam Early Access on 13 November. Yes, if you’re reading this as we publish, that’s next week. Rather than Kunos stretching itself too thin, AC Rally is being handled by Supernova Game Studios, a developer formed in 2021 by Kunos parent company Digital Bros Group. It’ll also be released in a fairly primitive state, by the look of it. No word yet on a target date for the full release, so stay tuned for that. In Early Access form, Assetto Corsa Rally will launch with 10 cars from a range of eras in rallying. Alfa Romeo GTA 1300 Junior Gr.2 Citroen Xsara WRC Fiat 124 Sport Abarth Rally 16V Gr.4 Fiat 131 Abarth Gr.4 Hyundai i20N Rally2 Lancia 037 Evo 2 Gr.B Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evo Gr.A Lancia Stratos Gr.4 Mini Cooper S Gr2. Peugeot 208 Rally4 Assetto Corsa Rally will be pretty light on stages at launch, with just four to choose from, but each is a laser-scanned route from real-world locations, potentially offering the most realistic rally sim experience to date. Simply put, it’s unclear at this stage. Console versions of AC Evo are in the works, and its predecessors have both been on PlayStation and Xbox, so it’d be a surprise not to see AC Rally make the jump at some stage. Just don’t expect it anytime soon.
