    NASCAR team member from Legacy Motor Club has died

    Legacy Motor Club is a three-charter team in the NASCAR Cup Series co-owned by 7-time champion Jimmie Johnson. The third charter was acquired in late 2025. Rick “Otis” Hodges, a hauler driver for the team has passed away. He’s worked within the industry for many years but only recently joined Legacy MC.View the statement from the team below. “We’re extremely saddened by the loss of our LEGACY MOTOR CLUB teammate Rick “Otis” Hodges,” the team opened in a statement. “Otis worked in our sport for many years and joined LEGACY last year as one of our truck drivers. He was such a great person to be around and we were all lucky to call him a friend.
