Gran Turismo 7 Spec III, Power Pack DLC Arriving Tomorrow

We thought for a while that the stream of new content heading to Gran Turismo 7 was steadily coming to an end. How wrong we were. 4 December 2025, not far off four years since the game launched, will see the single biggest batch of new content to arrive in one go, thanks to not only the most expansive free update yet but the game's first paid DLC. That update is known as Spec III, and as we've known for a while, it's bringing eight new cars and two new circuits to the game. We had solid IDs of six of those eight cars and were pretty certain of the other two, but now the full details of all eight have been released, and they range from a humble Fiat Panda to a fictional F1-inspired car, via some much-requested modern Ferraris and the surprise return of a cult GT hero: Gran Turismo 7 Then come the two new circuits, both current Formula 1 venues, but very different in character. There's the challenging old-school parkland blast in Montreal, Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, and the hyper-modern Yas Marina Circuit, home of the Abu Dhabi GP. Elsewhere, Spec III brings the addition of a lap data logger, a new tyre partnership with Dunlop, a fresh opening cinematic, and an increase in the Collector Level cap from 50 to 70. Gran Turismo 7 There's also the usual bout of new World Circuits events and Menu Books, but also some new event types geared towards those that have already 'completed' GT7, so to speak. They include Mission Challenge and Time Trial events in the game's Weekly Challenges, and a new 'Seasonal Menu' that'll grant rewards for collecting a changing rotation of cars. Then there's the Power Pack, the first piece of paid DLC GT7 has received. It'll bring new full race weekend formats as well as a batch of 50 new themed events, which include the long-awaited return of full 24-hour endurance races to the franchise. They'll use the latest 3.0 version of GT's Sophy AI opponents. Gran Turismo 7 The Power Pack also introduces six new cars that can be earned through the new events. They're all modified from cars in the base game, but feature modifications not normally applicable, and generally themed around various real-world motorsports: Gran Turismo 7 Finally, the DLC will grant you with an influx of 5 million in-game credits. Both the Spec III update and Power Pack will be available from 8am GMT on 4 December, with the update available to preload now and arriving for free for all players across PS4 and PS5. However, because the Power Pack uses the advanced Sophy AI, it's PS5-exclusive, and at £24.99 ($29.99/€29.99), it ain't exactly cheap. Still, the main content update is at least still free, and suggests that GT7 may still have some life in it yet.
